You may need to pay super early
Name of entity:[employer]
Hello
Our system indicates that you have one or more employees with an account with THE TRUSTEE FOR CARE SUPER.

Care Super will be merging with another fund and has advised they
won't be accepting contributions from Clearing Houses, including ATO's Small Business Superannuation Clearing House (SBSCH) during a Limited Service Period.

Accounting for SBSCH processing timeframes, this period will extend to cover
17 October to 31 October 2024 (inclusive). This may impact your ability to make payments prior to the 28 October Super Guarantee (SG) due date.

The following Unique Superannuation Identifiers are impacted:
>CAR0001AU
>CAR0100AU
>98172275725707
>98172275725708
What you need to do
If you intend to use the SBSCH, you need to make sure any payments for the September 2024 quarter (for employees with a Care Super account) are received by us no later than 16 October 2024.
What you need to know
During the Limited Service Period the SBSCH won't be able to assist in processing monies to this fund. Any monies received and intended for the fund will be returned to you.

If you need to make a payment to the fund during this period, you may want to consider speaking with your employees or Care Super directly to obtain another way to make the payment.

If you make a SG payment after the due date then you will need to lodge a Super Guarantee Charge (SGC) statement and pay the SGC to us.
