Problem:

Does your business have hundreds of

  • small docket tax invoice receipts from suppliers like
    • Coles, & Woolworths
    • Officeworks
    • Petrol station receipts

& hate having to organise and summarise all these amounts & the gst?

  • Are you eligible for ATO fuel credits and hate having to total up how many litres of fuels you acquired in a period?

Consider setting up a 10-30 day account with these suppliers where you can go in store, buy your groceries, fuel, etc., and pay them 10-30 days later via bank transfer. They will send you a neat A4 summarise statement of your monthly purchases.

Which suppliers offer this?

You can ask any of your suppliers if they offer credit account facilities and just apply. So far we are aware of the following suppliers that offer these services:

  • BP
  • 7-eleven fuel
  • Bunnings
  • Caltex
  • Coles
  • Coles Express fuel
  • Metro fuel
  • Officeworks
  • Shell
  • Woolworths

Suppliers that DON'T OFFER these services include:

  • Aldi
  • Costco

Eligibility

Generally, the eligibility for these applications is that you:

  • have an ABN
  • Ask what extra minimum eligibility requirements they have
    • some large suppliers require a minimum weekly purchase of say $1000.

Advantages

  • reduce the number of tax invoices you keep and make doing your expenditure/taxes summaries much easier & organised
  • have more cash available on hang and delay paying your suppliers at a later date. i.e. a better cash flow

Where to apply?

  • We have the Coles and Woolworths forms attached below
  • The others like BP, Caltex, Officeworks, etc you can apply directly on their website
