Via Australia Post interview

- if the applicant is not born in Australia, take note of when the applicant arrived in Australia (dd/mm/yy) and which country they were born in
- if the applicant is below 16, the parent/guardian must prove that they have hte authority to act on the child's behalf. Acceptable proof includes:
- Medicare card (both parent and child name must appear on the 1 card. See ghosh issue)
- Australian/Foreign full birth certificate
- Letter of authority or power of attorney
- Court order
- Proof of parentage/guardianship docs.
- Once you complete the application make sure to:
- SAVE THE REFERENCE NUMBER - this won't appear ininside the pdf or email. It only appears on the website once and in the pdf file name (so remember to keep the pdf file name)
- print the pdf
- book an interview at an Australia Post + bring 3 IDs with you (driver licence, passport, photo ID, medicare, birth certificate ,etc.)
- complete the interview
