- To be eligible for the supplement, your family’s adjusted taxable income (ATI) must be $80,000 or less.
- IT is paid for each eligible child
- the calculation is based on:
- your ATI
- age of the children
- no. children in your care
- % of caring responsibilities you do for your child
- any child suport you receive
- if the child is from a previous relationship in your care (you need to meet the Maintenance Action Test to receive more than the base rate of FTB Part A.)
- the rates from centrelink
- you can be paid up to $737.30 for each eligible child.
Income over $111,398
We use an income test if your family’s adjusted taxable income is over $111,398.
We’ll reduce the rate of FTB Part A by 30 cents for each dollar of income over $111,398. This applies until your payment is nil.
